Kloof Landscaping designs, builds and maintains gardens across Cape Town's northern suburbs from our base in Durbanville. We work with the Cape climate: waterwise and indigenous planting, lawns that suit the sun they get, and irrigation that puts water where it is needed.
Every garden starts with a walk around the property to check soil, sun, slope and water, then a plan and an itemised quote. The team that quotes is the team that builds, and we keep the site tidy while we are there.
WhatsApp a few photos of your garden and what you have in mind, and we will tell you what is possible.

WhatsApp a few photos, rough measurements and what you want the garden to do: play space, low water, entertaining, privacy.
We walk the property, check soil, sun, slope and water, and give you a plan and an itemised quote.
Levelling, irrigation, hard landscaping and planting in the right order, with the site kept tidy and access agreed with you.
Irrigation set for the season, a plant list, and a maintenance plan if you want us to keep it looking the way it did on day one.
“Our new garden uses half the water the old lawn did and looks better every month.”
“Retaining wall, lawn and irrigation done in two weeks, exactly as drawn.”
“The maintenance team turns up every second Tuesday without fail.”
Kikuyu for full sun and heavy use, buffalo or Berea for partial shade, and shade blends under trees. We look at sun, soil and how the lawn will be used before recommending one.
More in the first season while plants establish, then far less if the planting is indigenous or waterwise and the beds are mulched. Drip irrigation on a controller keeps water where it is needed.
Autumn, once the heat breaks, so roots establish over the wet winter. Lawn can be laid most of the year if it is watered properly.
Yes. Paths, patios, retaining walls, gabions and decks are part of most gardens we build, and doing them in the right order with the planting saves money.
Usually yes. We keep what is healthy and suits the plan, move what can be moved and tell you honestly what should go.
Weekly or fortnightly visits on a fixed monthly price: mowing, edging, pruning, feeding, weeding and checking the irrigation. You get a short note after each visit.
